In 2020, Vale Park Animal Hospital partnered with the Regional Development Company and Old National Bank to purchase land and construct a new, state-of-the-art facility built by RWE Management.

How the SBA 504 loan program works

The SBA 504 loan program provides long-term, fixed-rate financing for major fixed assets, such as real estate and equipment, to small businesses.

The SBA 504 loan structure works in partnership with a conventional lender. Traditionally, the borrower makes a 10% down payment, the bank funds 50% of the project costs, and the Certified Development Company (CDC)—such as RDC—covers the remaining 40%. This financing approach enables small businesses to access substantial funding while benefiting from favorable terms.
